The barn explosion leaves a suspense, 《 Marshals 》 (Marshals) Season 2 Episode 4 review

In episode 4 of Season 2 of Marshals, a dangerous figure from Carl's past reappears, and Cassie and Andrea's pursuit is eventually cut short by an explosion. The following relates to the main plot of this episode.

The episode begins with Casey's nightmare. The young man stood in front of the mirror, opened his shirt, and applied medicine to the newly branded “Y”-shaped mark on his chest.《Yellowstone》(Yellowstone) once explained this pain: After Monica became pregnant with Tate, the two refused to have an abortion, and John Dutton forced his son to accept the brand.

Playing young Casey this time is Berlin-Enrique Nielsen, who also stars in the new Netflix series Poser.Previously, the teenager Casey in different stages of Yellowstone was played by Reese Altman and Kai Custer.

Back in the present, both Casey and Andrea are using their jobs to avoid their own problems, and they still work together to catch fugitives after get off work.Bell teased that the two looked like Bonnie and Clyde, and Casey sent a message late at night: Did you sleep?“ text messages also gave TVLine’s comments on this episode a sense of something beyond the relationship between colleagues.

One of their arrests leads to a clue about Rudy Carpenter. This fugitive who is on the top 15 most wanted list is played by Braxton Hale and appeared in the fourth episode of the first season.Casey recalled the decision to let him go to Carl, saying that their only ”fault“ that day was choosing to save Tom Weaver's life.Because the original clue came from Andrea, Gifford put her in charge of tracking it down, treating the mission as training: Carl would be on sick leave and she might need to step in later. However, Cathy and Andrea took drastic measures to extract information from fugitive-related personnel. Carl was dissatisfied with this and began to doubt her ability to lead the team.Andrea's rhetorical question was straightforward - they did get results, didn't they?

Hale, who plays Carpenter, had previously played an unnamed character in an episode of Yellowstone.

During the investigation, Bell and Casey also went to the country club to question Carpenter's ex-wife.Casey even hit the security guard with a golf club. The original reviewer thought this scene was handled exaggeratedly. The location also evoked the past of the Dutton family. Bell asked his family if they were members here in the past. Kathy replied that her brother and sister belonged here, and she was born to belong in the barn.

This line made the commentator think of Beth and other members of the Dutton family, and also hope that the Marshals Team will intersect with Dutton Ranch in the future.

Marshals finally found Carpenter at a nearby farm. The original comment used the Oklahoma City bombing to describe the severity of this threat.Carpenter appeared to be injured in the firefight, but was still capable of detonating the bomb. When the barn exploded at the end of the episode, Casey, Andrea and Carpenter were all inside, and the ending stopped at ”To Be Continued%.

The subplot, in which Andrea tries to fight PTSD with a serial case, doesn't get any better. The emotional burden of being kidnapped is still there, and she even sees the apparition of Randall Clegg's men in the mirror. At the same time, TVLine believes that her and Casey's attraction, which was already evident in the first season, is becoming more obvious now.

Miles continued to fret about keeping Carl's diagnosis a secret: he had to hide it from Maddie.Casey reminded him that Carl's wishes should be respected. The original commenter worried that McGrady would be angry with Miles if he knew the truth in the future; the relationship is still carrying this secret.
