Xu Qianqian is here - Thank you for your tolerance - Premiere talks about Tang Yan's scars

On November 4th, the premiere of "Thank You for Your Tolerance" was held in Beijing.Producer and lead star Xu Qianqian, director, screenwriter and star Bu Yixian, as well as actors such as Yu Jieqi, Deng Gang, Guo Xinrui and other actors came to the post-screening exchange site to talk about the trauma behind the characters and the filming experience of the film.

Tang Yan, played by Xu Qianqian, worked three jobs at the same time just to save her seriously ill mother. Her lover left, she was violated by Qin Baoshan, and her mother died. The successive blows pushed her into trouble. After that, Tang Yan met Qiao Zhiyuan, played by Yu Jieqi, and put down her dream to support her husband's business, and lived a seemingly stable family life for ten years. After Qin Baoshan, played by Deng Gang, was released from prison, old trauma invaded her life again. She had to face those unhealed wounds again and make a choice between self-salvation and compromise and tolerance.

In Xu Qianqian's view, Tang Yan has rich layers and the strength to support herself. She hopes that this character can bring positive guidance to the audience and remind everyone that they don’t have to stay in a low mood while watching movies. After playing this role, she left sixteen words: “See the scars, know the emotions, neither indulge nor avoid, be independent and self-sufficient.”

Bu Yixian also appeared in the list of director, screenwriter and actor. There was a practical reason at first: actor resources were tight during preparations, so he and Xu Qianqian both performed. When it comes to creation, he said that he put his past painful experiences and observations of reality into the film, slowly unfolding Tang Yan's changes. It takes time for characters to move towards reconciliation, and he wanted to show the slow and real self-healing process of ordinary people.

Qiao Zhiyuan is easily labeled as a scumbag by the audience, but Yu Jieqi is more willing to understand him from the perspective of a complicated ordinary person. When Deng Gang talked about Qin Baoshan, he also emphasized that characters, whether good or evil, are first and foremost human beings, and their complex humanity must be found when performing.Chen Xiaolu, played by Guo Xinrui, is a hidden line, and her experience reflects the path that Tang Yan once walked.

《Thank you for your tolerance》will be released in theaters nationwide on November 14.
