Cage appears wearing a prosthetic nose - the best pancakes in the county - (Best Pancakes in the County) trailer

With yellow glasses, a plaid suit, and an exaggerated prosthetic nose, Nicolas Cage changes his look in Best Pancakes in the County (tentative translation).IFC Films has released the first official trailer for this crime comedy, in which Cage co-stars with Justin Long and Shelley Hennig. A humble small-town restaurant becomes the site of a crossfire between various people.

When a heist involving the FBI goes awry, a cunning criminal returns to a remote diner.Competing killers, corrupt federal agents, and an underrated waitress are drawn into a deadly confrontation. The story takes place on a chaotic night: the smooth-talking liar has a dangerous past, the waiter also hides his own secrets; camps and loyalties are constantly changing, and who can think faster and shoot faster than the other will determine who survives.

The trailer begins with an invitation from "Let the showdown begin" and also throws out a rhetorical question: How many corrupt federal agents will there be?%In addition to Cage, Lang and Hennig, the cast also stars Lauren German, Ravi Patel, Tetiana Dahl, Brandon Michael Smith and Kelly Grayson.

The film was written and directed by Ken Sanzel. He has previously directed Scar City, Lone Hero, Nomads, Blunt Force Trauma and Kill Chain.Producers include R.J. Collins, Niko Fomenko, Eric Brenner, Edward Osipov, Gary Pressler and R. Wesley Silk.

IFC describes the new film as an action-packed, fast-paced adventure that combines wit and intensity and says it will appeal to global audiences.Alex Billington, author of FirstShowing, had a rather reserved view of the trailer: He didn't understand why Cage used such an exaggerated prosthetic nose. He thought the film seemed to be a work aimed at the cheap DVD market and relied mainly on Cage to gain opportunities. He was also skeptical of the distributor's publicity about its attractiveness.

IFC Films is scheduled toIt will be released in some theaters in the United States on November 20, and will be available for video on demand at the same time. The poster follows the neon background of a restaurant, with weapons and cash beside the three protagonists, and the release date is marked at the bottom.
