Mark Millar revealed at the High Viz Comic Con in Kings Heath, Birmingham, England, that King of Spies will be the next Millarworld adaptation to be filmed. He also mentioned the Nemesis movie trilogy and The Magic Order. The interview was released by Geeky Brummie and Olly MacNamee's channels, and Bleeding Cool first compiled the relevant news.
Miller said that movies currently occupy about 90% of his working time, and the team plans to shoot three projects in succession around the end of this year. At the same time, he still enjoys creating comics. This conversation did not directly name Netflix, but King of Spies, Nemesis and The Magic Order are all Millarworld assets acquired by Netflix.
《King of Spies》(King of Spies) was created by Miller and painter Matteo Scalera, published in 2021, with a total of four issues. The protagonist, Sir Roland King, is a retired British super spy. After learning that he only has six months to live, he decides to eliminate those who he believes should pay the price. The one who can stop him is his estranged son.

Miller described the story as James Bond's reckoning with the real bad guys, and called it his most satisfying work. This project included film plans from its inception. When the comic was announced in 2021, the production notes already mentioned that Netflix's Millarworld team participated in the design, and it will be developed into a movie later.
As for the film's screenwriter, Miller only revealed that the other person was someone he had admired for 20 years and happened to still live nearby. His name has not been released, and the director, actors and release date have not yet been announced.
Nemesis' planned trilogy is based on the more recent comic book chapters: Nemesis Reloaded, Nemesis: Rogues' Gallery, and Nemesis Forever. His 2010 original with Steve McNiven will also borrow some elements, including the opening sequence, which takes place in Japan.Miller described the setting of the series as a villainous Batman fighting against the world.

《The Magic Order》(The Magic Order) has been developed as a TV series before. Miller mentioned it next to other film projects this time, but did not explain whether the adaptation form has changed. He also said that Psychic Sam, a project he is crowdfunding outside of Millarworld through Mark Millar Productions in collaboration with John Romita Jr., has no word currently linking it to Netflix.
Another comic linkage project - Big Game - has no immediate plans to start filming.Miller placed its film adaptation in the distant future, even mentioning waiting until 30 years later when the entire series is rebooted.
《The Magic Order》(The Magic Order) production was interrupted twice. The first time was in October 2020, when the project was still in the preparatory stage in Prague, and it was restarted the following year. The 2024 production list also listed arrangements for filming in Chicago in March, led by new coordinator Alex Meenahan. It was later postponed to the latter part of the third quarter, and ultimately it has not yet entered filming.《Huck》(Huck) was also close to the production stage, and then stalled for a long time.
Netflix acquired Millarworld in August 2017, which will be ten years in 2027.Previously launched adaptations include Jupiter's Legacy, which will only air for one season in 2021, the animated Super Crooks of the same year, and The Chosen One, an adaptation of American Jesus in 2023.The announced projects such as Prodigy, Empress, Reborn and Sharkey the Bounty Hunter have yet to be released into film and television productions.
