Neon Pictures has released the official trailer for Paper Tiger.This New York-set thriller, written and directed by James Gray, stars Adam Driver and Miles Teller as brothers.The film has premiered in competition at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, and the U.S. distributor plans to bring it to theaters in November and arrange a return screening at the New York Film Festival.

The story is set in Queens in the 1980s.Gary Pearl and his brother Owen took a fancy to a seemingly profitable business involving the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn.The two people who originally thought they had seized the opportunity were soon involved in the dangerous dealings of the Russian mafia, and their brotherly relationship and family life began to come under pressure.
