Micah Munroe's New Film《Victoria Horror》Open Production Special

Bleecker Street has released a making-of featurette for Victoria Psycho starring Micah Munroe. This movie, which mixes horror, comedy and thriller elements, will be released in some theaters in the United States on November 13. The story takes place in a remote manor in the Victorian era.

In 1858, Winifred Nottie was hired to work at Ensor Manor, where she was responsible for teaching the children etiquette and family history while hiding her psychopathic tendencies. As she gradually adapts to life in the manor, staff begin to disappear for no reason, and the owner begins to suspect that the new female teacher may be different from what she seems.

A quote from the special sums up her situation: “If she wants to keep her job, she'll have to try to control those hidden impulses.”The character is placed in a world beyond his control, walking on the border between rebellion and complete madness. The promotion also talked about "American Psycho"; Alex Billington, author of FirstShowing, believes that the film seems to have moved the dangerous and dark humorous story into the Victorian era, and affirmed its entertainment value.

Munro plays Winifred. Her co-stars include Jason Isaacs, Thomasin McKenzie, Ruth Wilson, Evie Templeton, Jacoby Jupp, Amy Debrun, Paul Reed and Catherine Moran.

Director Zachary Wigon has previously filmed The Heart Machine and Sanctuary, and has also created many short films. The script was written by Virginia Feto, and the producers are Dan Kagan, Sebastian Lebo, Nick Shoemaker, Elizabeth Siegel and Wigon.

《Victoria Horror》has premiered in the “Un Certain Regard” section of the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. This making-of featurette follows the official trailer released over the summer.
