Seeing Charlie's grades slip, his parents become more strict and forbid him from visiting Nick until he improves his grades and completes a paper.When Al visits Lambert School of Art and makes new friends, Xu Tao begins to feel alienated and jealous of Al.His mother encourages him to try to remain friends with her, and he admits to Charlie and Isaac that he likes Al.Nick's brother David returns from college and disapproves of Nick and Charlie's relationship.Nick becomes increasingly concerned about Imogen's relationship with Ben, but still insists on telling her why she should stay away from him.
