Episode 9

After Shiyin collapsed at the concert, word spread quickly and she was rushed to the hospital.Meanwhile, Detective Dong-sik asks for a DNA test on blood samples collected from Bong-joo’s murder scene and Sa-eum’s hair.The next day, Shi Yin woke up and discovered what was being spread on the news.She immediately asks to go home and Jung-jae takes her to her father's place where she is finally able to relax after everything she has been through.Elsewhere, Yoo-ra tries to get Han-ji to air a documentary to capitalize on Shi-yin's news, however, he rejects her offer because he knows it's not the right time.

The next day, she leaves a resignation letter on Sang Do's desk, which shocks Jung Jae and Jin Pil.They rush to her hotel, only to find she's not there, and start looking for Shi Yin.At the same time, news of Shiyin's rejection spread throughout the band, and Yazhen was happy, while Luna hurriedly looked for Shiyin, but was stopped by Taeho.Elsewhere, Zhengzai finally found Shiyin and accompanied her, promising not to ask any questions and just accompany her silently.The two spent the whole day together, however, Jung-jae's eyes fell on some letters in the trash can that Shi-yin had written to her father, and the farewell words suggested that Shi-yin had considered ending her life.

Jung Jae confronts Shi Yin, who finally breaks down and tells him that she doesn't want to die, but she also doesn't want anyone to see her in a state like her mother's.She didn't want her father to go through the same pain again, which is why she had to leave even if she wanted to live.Just like that, the two of them burst into tears, and they both felt great pain.Meanwhile, Dong-sik is shocked to learn that the DNA found at the scene does not match Se-yin's.The scene switches to Ya Zhen shopping for her soon-to-be-born child.Elsewhere, Luna drunkenly calls Tae-ho and asks him to accompany her.

The next day, she wakes up next to Tae-ho and is shocked when she checks his phone.Meanwhile, Jung Jae sends Se Eum home, promising to be by her side if she decides to get treatment.He promised to wait until she was ready to rely on him.Se Eum quickly discusses her divorce proceedings with Kim Pil.However, despite her agreeing to his divorce terms, he's not ready to end things anytime soon.Later, she tells her friend Hye-jung that she plans to go on a trip and asks her to take care of her father.

Luna told Tae Ho that Shi Yin was back and they rushed to see her.Shiyin's father was shocked when he received a call from the hospital telling him that Shiyin's blood sample contained poison.Luna tries to convince Shiyin to stay, but Shiyin's father urges her to go home and tell her about the phone call.Shi Yin was shocked to learn that there were poisons in his blood.Luna tells them that Tae-ho has a message on his phone that was sent to Jung-jae, accusing him of trying to poison Se-yin.Se-yin goes to Jung-jae and asks him if he hired Tae-ho as an assistant. Jung-jae confirms this but is shocked by Se-yin's accusation.
