Episode 1

The story takes place in Nagasaki in 2013.In her first year of high school, Yu Aihara (played by Mei Nagano) was nicknamed “ Sand ” because of her rare name. She chose to keep a distance from others due to lack of self-confidence.

On a rainy day, Yu was troubled because he didn't have an umbrella. At this moment, Asano Taiyang (Yamada Yuki) took the initiative to hand over a red folding umbrella and said: “If you can, do you want to come in and hide?rain?”

Although Yu was a little repelled by Sun's enthusiasm at first, she was gradually attracted to him after coming into contact with his cheerful and straightforward nature.However, the two were forced to separate because of a certain agreement.Rain went to Tokyo to realize her dream of becoming a pastry chef, while Taiyang stayed at home and became an apprentice to a pyrotechnics chef.

Ten years later, Yu returned to Nagasaki for a visit.She was warmly welcomed by her grandmother, Aihara Yukino (played by Yu Kimiko), but when it came to working in Tokyo, Yu fled in a hurry.At the same time, Taiyang was dissatisfied because he was not entrusted to host the fireworks display of the Great Dark Day, and clashed with his father and master, Asano Yohei (played by Kenichi Endo).In the struggle to face each other's past and present, on the glasses bridge where they once shared their feelings, Taiyang saw the figure of Yu holding a red folding umbrella...
