The play tells the story of Jia Guitian (played by Zhao Benshan) who mistakenly treated the seriously ill Fengtian garrison commander Ma Debing (played by Wang Xiaoli) due to his own negligence. In order to save his life, Jia Guitian tricked his nephew Wang Laowu (played by Wang Xiaoli) who looked exactly like Ma Debing to replace him.%Ma Debing took office as the county magistrate of Fuhu County.Unexpectedly, various forces gathered in Fuhu County, and things continued to develop out of control, triggering a series of ridiculous but real, touching and meaningful stories.
