Fu Chaochao, the ancestor of Xuanmen, failed to survive the tribulation and was reincarnated into a three-and-a-half-year-old Taoist boy.

He went to live with his eldest grandson Fu Zhenting.

Fu Zhenting sent his son Fu Hongzi to pick him up.

Fu Chaochao figured out that Fu Hongyu was in danger of death and gave him an amulet as a meeting gift to save his life.

Later, he helped Fu Zhenting solve the curse and survive the crisis, and was loved by the whole family.
