Cersei is the eldest daughter of Lord Tywin Lannister and Joanna Lannister, and the twin sister of Jaime Lannister.

When the story begins, Cersei is the wife of Robert Baratheon and has three children: Joffrey Baratheon, Myrcella Baratheon, and Tommen Baratheon.

After the Usurper's War she married the new king Robert Baratheon and became the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.
