《The East Palace》Korean name《동궁》, English name The East Palace, is a Korean costume fantasy suspense drama launched by Netflix.The series is directed by Choi Jung-gyu, written by Kwon So-ra and Seo Jae-won, and stars Nam Joo-hyuk, Noh Yoon-seo, and Cho Seung-woo.

The story takes place in a palace shrouded in strange rumors.Ju Tian has the ability to travel between reality and the ghost world, and can kill the evil spirits that break into the world with a knife; the palace girl Jiang Tiansheng can hear the voices of ghosts, and therefore bears secrets and curses.In order to solve the long-standing terrifying vision in the East Palace, the king secretly summoned Gu Tian and Jiang Sheng, and asked the two to join forces to investigate the taboo truth deep in the royal family.

As the two go deep into the East Palace, strange things in the palace, old royal cases, and resentments that span the worlds of life and death gradually surface.The series combines elements of costume, fantasy, action and suspense, intertwining ghost-killing operations, palace power and the characters' hidden pasts, presenting a dark palace story centered around curses and secrets.

The series has 8 episodes and will be released on Netflix on July 17, 2026.
