《Artisans of great powers》 is a documentary series launched by CCTV News during May 1st, 2015, with a total of eight episodes.This series focuses on the unknown but highly skilled ordinary workers in China's manufacturing industry. By telling the stories of eight workers in different positions, it shows their ultimate pursuit of professional skills and their contribution to “Made in China”.

These craftsmen include Gao Fenglin, a senior national technician who welded engines for the Long March rocket, and other skilled craftsmen who have created one "Made in China" myth after another through inheritance, study, concentration and perseverance in their respective fields.By showing their decades of concentration and unremitting pursuit of professional skills, the program promotes the spirit of craftsmanship, which is the attitude of striving for excellence in work.

Gao Fenglin is a welder at the First Institute of Aerospace Science and Technology Group and a national special technician.With a dream in his heart, a calm mind and a steady hand, he welded the flying magic arrow.

Ma Yu is a cultural relic restorer at the Mausoleum Museum of the First Emperor of Qin. He can recreate the unparalleled terracotta warriors and horses in just the smallest detail.

Wang Wei, a senior sheet metal worker at China Goofy Group, hand-crafts exquisite arcs with errors that are difficult to discern with the naked eye, and lifts China's large aircraft soaring into the blue sky.
