On June 19, 2023, the play was selected into the Goose Factory 2023 drama list, and a concept poster was released at the same time; on the same day, the play was officially launched and a trailer was released.In August, the 《Under the Skin 2》 project was launched, with Tan Jianci and Jin Shijia returning with the original cast of the three leading actors.On September 21, the play was selected into the 2024 iQiyi Youth Film List, the starring role was officially announced, and a poster was released.

In April 2024, the March national key online drama shooting registration announcement was announced. The drama was officially registered and is expected to have 24 episodes.
