AI football short drama - Xiao Chao - Episode 55 is online, Lingling defender reaches the final with long shots

Lu Feng was originally a defender with the worst skills and a reckless attitude in the eyes of the coach. However, in a crucial game, he relied on a long shot to complete the winning goal. The AI web drama - the first long shot in every game must be scored, I dominate Xiao Chao - is based on this setting. It will be launched on Douyin, Hongguo and other platforms during the National Day holiday. The drama has 55 episodes and is free to watch.

The story takes place in Lingling.Lu Feng unexpectedly obtained the “Goldfinger” system and began to lead the team to complete games after games. In the end, he won the “Xiaochao” championship as a dark horse. Finally, he also attracted the attention of England's professional scouts.Teams, championships and system capabilities are all fictional plots of this short play.

《Xiao Chao》Guided by the Short Drama Committee of the Hunan Microfilm and Microvideo Art Association. The creative inspiration comes from the grassroots football leagues that have been held in various places in recent years, such as the Scottish Super League, Hunan Super League, Jiangxi Super League, Sichuan Super League, etc., which have attracted attention to urban home games and amateur teams. The series borrows the background of county teams and local leagues, and writes the growth of defenders and the team's championship into short plays.

Director Xu Junqiang hopes that Lu Feng can make ordinary fans find a sense of familiarity. He said: “Every ordinary person who has played football on an amateur court, on a company team, or on a middle school playground may be Lu Feng in his or her life.”

During the production, AI-generated images were combined with film and television lenses to reproduce technical moves familiar to fans: Zidane's Marseille slalom, Ronaldo's pendulum dribble, and Ronaldinho's croquettes.Lu Feng changed directions, made moves and dunks in “Time Corridor”. These star actions were incorporated into the character's game segments.

Slow-motion volleys, sliding and kneeling near the corner flag to celebrate, long-range shots breaking the net, and reactions on the bench were also arranged in the narrative of the game.

In Xu Junqiang’s view, the popularity of local events provides material for sports film and television creation.AI has lowered the threshold for some shootings, and the short drama uses a more compact game and reversal of rhythm, carrying stories such as the county team reaching the final and the defender becoming the top scorer.

As of October 8, Xiaochao ranked third in the game and sports category on the Douyin short drama list with 10 million views. The entire drama has been online in its entirety.
