Lin Ji-yeon plays the role of Gu De, a slave born to slave parents. She ran away after a conflict with the bad master she served, met a new kind-hearted lady, and became the adopted daughter of her family.But the kind-hearted lady suddenly died, and Gude threw away his name and lived his second life as a brand-new lady.​

Qiu Yingyu plays Song Ruiren, a son of the superintendent's house. He is very romantic in the face of love and does not care about his role. He and Gude changed after they were entangled in various incidents.
